North Newton Township Freedom Festival

Celebrate America's 250th Anniversary on Saturday, August 1st 11 am- 3pm at North Newton Township Park, 528 Oakville Road, Shippensburg. The fun starts at 11 am with a special tribute to our military veterans and active-duty soldiers followed by HATS OFF TO AMERICA presented by Ray Owen and Christine. It's a musical journey through America's history for the whole family! Don't miss a patriotic sing-along at 1 pm. Also Featured: FOOD TRUCKS: Free Style Foodie, Moschetti's Touch of Italy, Kona Ice, Sweet Alma's Drink Company, and more! Walk through a Historical Showcase, Visit Vendors, Tons of Fun for the children: Kids' Activity Tent where children make and play revolutionary-era games featuring a Freedom Festival Scavenger hunt with prizes, bounce house, barrel train.
